My TBSS has leather seats with the suede inserts. I have only vacuumed the seats and have never actually cleaned, or applied any leather polishes to the seats. I would like to do a complete interior cleaning and I feel the seats should be done.

What products are used to first clean the leather? How about the suede inserts?

How can I keep the leather from "cracking"?

I did some searching on here and found some answers, but the suede has me stumped.

Here's what the seats look like:

Treat the leather as you would any leather. Maybe try 3m fabric guard on the suede. Idk, just some thoughts

I am a former TBSS owner myself, and I know the kind of pain in the butt those suede inserts are. As Stephan mentioned above, you should just treat the leather portions exactly as you would any other leather.

As for the suede, do you have any spots that need to be cleaned? If so, I would use some woolite and water with a soft toothbrush applied only very very lightly on the spots that need to be cleaned. Afterward, you can protect the suede (and make it water resistant) using a product called "Camp Dri" made by Kiwi. It's originally meant to protect suede boots and camping gear, and should be available at most sporting goods stores. It won't over-saturate the material and destroy the texture of the suede, and acts kind of like Scotch-Guard to help you keep it clean.

Hope that helps!
