leather cleaner around colored stitching

It can, depends upon the product and in some cases the color of the product.

This is a good reason to avoid light colored custom stiching... it makes cleaning and maintaining more difficult.

Reminds me of a guy I met at a class one time that purchased some really fancy wheels with a real intricate design... to him they looked really cool... that's all he thought about when he made his purchase. Later he found out how much time the intricate and complicated design took to clean and dry to keep them looking new and hated them.

I haven't had any problem with mine. What type of cleaner or conditioner are you using?

I've always wondered if theres anything in some of these products that is actually breaking down the stiching on some level over time. I think most of the ones I've used I feel pretty comfortable saying they aren't.... but who knows
 
ive been using lexol and so far just wiping up to the edge of the stiching to be sure it doesnt mess up the colored stitchings
