Leather coating question

I previously have used gtechniq L1 on my interior leather seats/dash and I was wanting to try cquartz leather 2.0 next. Will a different coating bond again or is there something have to use first to make sure whatever residual L1 is removed?

I would use a good cleaner like Gyeon strong leather cleaner or a good brush with a leather brush. Remove and rewipe again. Then coat.

If you wanted to be real thorough use a leather drill brush.
