When you say "clean your dash" what's on it that has you concerned? The dash is one area of the car that hardly ever gets dirty other then dust and/or a coffee spill. I would wipe it with a damp rag, allow to dry, then apply the grease

Your dash is not made of leather, but that doesn't really matter. Just so long as its not suede ;)

I just use the lexol leather cleaner for the leather and dash/misc. plastics for both of my audis. It has never left any residue. Only needing one product to do the leather and plastic of the door cards simplifies and streamlines the process for me. Both cars get that treatment twice a year - the rest of the time is just dusting and the occational spot treatment with the lexol.

If you are talking about Leather (as in seats) Leatherique cannot be beat BUT you to do without your car for a day or two while the leather soaks up the good stuff.

:iagree:
So true about the leatherique. After you treat it then you can use a damp microfiber if you want to go back over them from time to time. I also have use the leatherique rejuvinator oil on my weather seals to keep them looking good. For the dash ultima interior shampoo is a great product then I either top with PERL or 303 and not much sticks to it.

:dblthumb2:I SHALL AGREE with the previous two Leatherique users! I bought my Leatherique kit with both the pristine clean and rejuvenator and love it. I have both the Lexol Cleaner and conditioner and my results usually end up somewhat sticky and the leather looks too shinny.

A day of leatherique "baking" into your seats and steering wheel and youll appreciate it!

when i mean clean, i guess i meant dust. but i guess i wanted some kind of protectant fort the dash thats not shiney, kind of a natural look.

Understood...

apply the grease?

I'm not a big fan of applying anything to the interior. I think it looks cheap, but most ppl love it, so....

I'm especialy not a fan of applying to the dash. When the Sun hits your windshield in the early morning/late afternoon, it causes tremendous glare. This could easily cause someone to drive off the road, down an embankment, off a cliff and get themselves hurt.....it just ain't worth it in my opinion :hotrod2:

Have to agree, I tried this stuff a while ago. And it is top notch.

Another vote for Mothers VLR :xyxthumbs:

Poorboys Natural Look would be a good choice too :dblthumb2:

Let me add my vote for Mother's VLR - decent cleaning power, non-sticky, non-shiny finish, and can be used on virtually all non-fabric interior surfaces.

It is a good all purpose product.

Some of Jeep Grand Cherokees do have leather dashes now so I'm wondering what is best product for that leather. Seems like any of the main one's discussed for leather seats would work. I have some Lexol on hand and tried it on the passenger door leather of my 2012 Jeep GC Overland today. Want to test it there first. Anyone have actual experience with the leather dashes yet?

OPTI leather and vinyl cleaner. no gloss and smells good. Makes the inside of your car look like it did the day you picked up from the dealer. I and it protects
