Well, I rarely drive my during winter - maybe once in every 10 days or so.

In December, I drove my car on 6th, 20th and 28th. In January, I drove my car on 9th, 10th, 24th, 25th and 26th. I basically drive the car only if the roads are dry (no snow, snow salt).

In other seasons, I clean and condition (or apply protectant) the leather at least once every month. Or every week since my car is a convertible.

I was wondering how often the leather should be cared for for a car that is rarely driven during winter.

Thanks in advance

•Since you do occasionally get it out
of storage; then, on a monthly basis:
-I’ll suggest to use a white towel, that’s
been slightly dampened with warm water,
to gently wipe down the leather surfaces.

Thanks for your reply.

I am actually worried that cold weather might have negative effects on leather (cracks?) if left out in low temperature far too long. It could be my imagination but leather seemed harder yesterday when I drove it...

But if damp towel every month is all I need, then I wouldn't be any happier since I won't have to go to an underground mall at shopping center to clean and condition the leather as people look at me weirdly...
