I've had some bad leather seats recently. I generally use steam as a base cleaning and then follow-up with some mild APC and a microfiber as needed. I am looking for something a little more abrasive that won't damage the leather obviously. Something like a really mild scotchbrite pad or something like that. Does anyone use anything like that to do some mild scrubbing with APC? I have some leather brushes with a handle, but I would like something that can fit in the tighter spots and what not.

I wanted to bump this one. Still looking for something.

Race Glaze makes a nice leather brush.

Race Glaze Leather Brush
The Race Glaze Leather Brush contains natural soft bristles in a tactile real wood base for gently lathering up leather seat cleaners. An indispensable aid to drawing dirt out from cracks and seams.

I found a small scrub brush (about 3" long by 1" wide) with natural bristles at a local ACE hardware store. The bristles are firm but soft when wet -- does a great job without damaging the leather.

If you have a home Depot near you... Which most people do, I have found they have non scratching pads that work great for some mild scrubbing. Used them on a ton of leather seats with a apc

The problem with a pad is that it can't clean between the stitching. Might be good for the larger flat areas.

Is a DA with a cyclo brush too big for you?

I love using it on my leather.

I use scotchbrites on most leather. As long as you dont super scrub the leather hard you should be fine.

I use that from time to time but I have found that the soft grey pad isn't hard enough and the aqua carpet one is a little too harsh. That, and if you don't have it perfectly flat on the surface is stops spinning. What's it's supposed to do obviously but annoying nonetheless.
