From what I have read and understood, there is no significant difference between Real Leather and Leatherette interiors in modern cars as far as cleaning and maintenance. Both leather and leatherette in newer cars has a similar plastic coating. The products that are designed for leather interiors are designed to work on both these surface types. So unless we are working on older cars with different style leather we are good to use products like these on leatherette?
Please correct me if I am wrong. Also please give me your opinion on which do you think is better.
My specific application is a VW leatherette.
