So...reading all the threads about types of cleaners, swirl removers, polish, waxes, DAs, polishing cloths, micro fiber cloths...I decided to buy a boat load of items...Sweet!! Box shows up and I built my own detailing cart with power storage etc...and I try out my new Cyclo Pro-5 on a black Equinox hood!! WOW...came out neat...Thank you all for tricks, tips and suggestions!

However, When I was buidling my nifty little detailing cart I failed to realize that the micro fiber cloth bags was open!!!...by far they are the best wood collection device I have seen to date!! It does better than my dust collector!!

There goes six nice new Groits micros....I could not clean them without plucking the wood particles out by hand...oh well there is Lesson 2

I never posted Lesson 1 which was don't trust what your friends say when they tell you they know how to detail a car and thiers looks like a hologram swirl clown car...:xyxthumbs:

Thanks,
FNG

We all learn these little lessons and sometimes they can be expensive. Instead of tossing them just use them for wiping any surface that's non finish related.

I feel your pain...Ive done the same thing, but never mess up the cheap ones...LOL

Good Idea...use them in the wood shop to buff my projects.

Happened to me wiith grass clippings. Found a new place for the grass catcher and moved on. Enjoy the sickness.

Micro Fibers pick up EVERYTHING and basically refuses to let it go unless you manually wanna pick everything off. Basically they are crap magnets.
