So many to choose from and all a bit different. Since I do it as a business I tend to go with the most cost effective.
Depending on the detail. For most I use believe it or not Chemical Guys Tire Kicker and spray them with a gravity feed sprayer and it does check most of the boxes except longevity doesn’t seem to be the greatest! But I have to say my absolute go to that impressed me the most and every time I use it I like it that much more is Adam’s Graphene!
I just love the satin finish and depth. And it seems to last quite awhile. What are some of your flavors?

I'm convinced that TWHS Graphene tire dressing was changed since launch, Adam's graphene tire dressing is MUCH better

I know you've gotta think with your pocket book but maybe give the customers a couple levels of "upgrade" for their tires:

-base (Chemical Guys, I guess)
-better (Adam's graphene)
-best (Pure:est Tire Shine or CarPro Darkside)

I do just that. I go off the level of job I'm doing and use accordingly.

Where would you rate Meguiars Endurance Gel? I use something like that as my tire dressing for vehicles that I want to last a little longer.

Otherwise I usually use Megs Hyper Dressing @1:1 which we all know doesn’t last very long but looks great in the short term. I also find it to penetrate into tires with repeated use leaving them nice and black long term.

For example the tires on my own car never turn “brown”

Here they are before applying Hyper Dressing.

And here they are after.

I used Endurance for quite a while, back when I was pretty green. The idea of it lasting beyond the next wash and into the 3rd meant I thought that was a good thing. But then I discovered the notion of "sling", and the corresponding annoyance of cleaning black dots off the lowers. Even without the sling, the stuff is just so messy to use...............the final straw was after brushing past one of the tires and staining my best pair of jeans, it went in the bin shortly after. Same applied to all other solvent based dressings. These days, the lack of longevity is not the problem I thought it was, just means I get to apply something different each wash.

All this, forgot all about sling but then again I haven't used it in like 15 yrs and because I was so swept away with AutoGeek and world it opened up to me, well, it's easy for forget what old products did to you

Endurance is likely one of the worst detailing products I've used.

I've said this many times, but dressing tires is my favorite detailing task. Not sure why, perhaps it represents the finishing touch. I don't say this to brag, rather to illustrate my passion for tire dressing, but I've tried more than 30 different tire dressings and currently sitting on 23.

Favorites?

Adams Graphene - I don't usually fall for the Graphene thing, but this is a brilliant product for its ease of application and the satin finish it creates. Offers great coverage too.

Carpro Perl - an oldie, but a goodie. Perl seems offer a darker appearance than most, and can be tailored to suit taste, undiluted will do the gloss thing, diluted to 1:1 or 2:1 and it can be built upon to deliver your desired look. One 500ml bottle will last most people for a quite some time.

OG Tire Dressing - yeah yeah, I know. But its a very good product, a little goes a long way, smells lovely and offers gloss to satin to matte depending on taste. One of the few products that works well with Michelin tires, in particular the fussy PS4S.

NV Onyx - I would use this for the scent alone, a sweet caramel aroma that lingers in the garage for hours after use. This has a thicker lotion-like consistency, so is best applied with a foam applicator over a brush. It can do gloss, but is best when applied lightly or given a follow up knock down. The application is silky smooth too.

Honorable Mention.........Duragloss 253 - this is a hidden gem, especially in Australia. I mainly use this on larger SUV tires, the runny consistency allows for a quick, easy application. I have also found to be more durable than most water-based dressings, lasting through rain where others would simply wash off. It's not a WOW product, there is no scent for example, but its a reliable workhorse.

I’m with you on the graphene products, especially the plethora from Adam’s but the tire dressing is my go to. It’s glossy but not “see your reflection” glossy and as long as there’s no rain or aother washing I can get about two weeks of durability.

If I want a little more durability I’ll use CarPro Darkside. The sheen wears off after about a week and leaves a nice matt finish that can last me about a month on my car. My wife has a garage queen and has been able to get over 6 weeks.

Duragloss 253 is still my favorite and I've not found anything I've liked better when it comes to looks or durability. PERL diluted 1:1 comes closest. I've tried others to include Optimum Tire Gel and now Griots Ceramic Tire Dressing. When I run out of the Griots on the shelf right now I'll be going back to the Duragloss.

I personally prefer only water-based tire dressings. Solvent-based dressings last longer, but in my experience they often end up attracting dirt after a while and then are really difficult to clean off the tire.

I used to use Chemical Guys VRP (I don't like Chemical Guys products in general, but this is a great water-based dressing). Lately I also have been using Griot's Garage Ceramic Tire Dressing.

Has anyone tried Armour Detail Supply Tire+ ? I have been very impressed with several of their products and I am thinking of giving this a go. Please lmk if you have any experience with it and what you think.

Thanks,
Joe

I have always liked Duragloss #253. Picture above. Like the look and never slings. With rain repel in the mix the look lasts for a while. But with the advent of graphene and Ceramic dressings, GRIOTS is another one of my favorites. Looks great, lasts a really long time and again no sling. I apply both with a flagged tipped brush. Best tip I ever got.

Dark side after a light wipe down. Easily last 3-4 weeks on Michelins.

A wipe down is a MUST with Darkside and yes, even works on my PS4's

Cerakote is the longest lasting tire dressing I've used. It's kind of a matte gloss.

I stocked up on Meguiars Endurance Gel when they were $6.47 I like it allot. Just thick and have to apply with applicator.
