Paint correction on this very soft lexus. Job took around 30 hours with compounding, polishing, and jeweling. The paint was super soft and was marring the paint with every wipe down. Had to use essence with distilled water to polish the paint.

Compound FG 400 - Meguires MF disc
Polishing, Menz super finish plus
Jeweling Carpro essence
Protection - Gloss Coat

This lexus came initially came in for a 1 step polish to remove light swirl marks. After inspecting the vehicle after a thorough decon step and car wash, the car was in pretty bad shape. The paint tends to hide swirls and scratches really well, but shows hazing and marring in direct sunlight. The correction took longer than expected since even my softest microfiber towels was marring the paint with each wipe down after polishing. Decided to use essence diluted with distill water. Using this combination allowed no marring when wipeing off the polish, allowing me to jump on to using Gloss Coat. Here are some pictures! Very difficult to capture scratches. It was supposed to be a 1 step and turned into a 30+ hr. marathon? I'm surprised you have the energy and commend your patience to even be here to post this. I'm not going to ask about compensation for the job, but it seems like a gap the size of the Grand Canyon between a 1 step and 30+ hours on a detail. I hope you did ok, Maestro.

Haha don't worry! It all worked out man in the $1000's =). I asked him how does his paint look and like all customers, they say its in good condition. Client ask me if it needed more than a polish, then he would trust my judgment. I took longer than expected since the initial polish was marring the paint so moved on with Essence! It was a big gap for sure, but well worth it. Always learning when correcting.

That's why they call you the Maestro... Good stuff!

Thanks man! Still learning a lot with each correction. I want to post better pictures up on this site but I don't think I know how to upload right haha. Thanks for the kind words and have more to come!
