hey guys im new here but beenreading all the material i can to the point my head hurts and when i think i got it straight im really confused
so i am looking to buy the pc unit as i have not used a machine to wax before and it seems like the best way to go for me. i wanna get my white truck back to par.its not too bad and just a few years old. i will just be doing my truck and the wifes suv and maybe a buddy every now and then.so help me shop. if it was your dime and had to put a list together fom pc to pads to product and towels what would you buy to do the intial swirl job and then just routine work to keep it up.im new to this and cant contribute much to you pros at the time but i will take pics and soak up as much so i can help in the future.

i also got a 25' fiberglass rv that has mid level oxidation that im gonna tackle also. thanks for the help you guys have alreadyposted. im gonna search some more and try to get it figured out

If it was my order I would go with the Griots DA, 5.5" flat pads (orange, white, gray, blue) probably 3 of each. For polishes I would keep it simple with 105/205. If you want a larger selection maybe add Menzerna SIP and 85rd.

You could also look into a package deal to save a buck. The PC package with the 105/205 combo is pretty much everything you need for some moderate correction and swirl removal.

Meguiars Porter Cable Ultra Polish Kit with 5.5 Inch Pads, Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Polishing Kit, Meguiars polishes, Porter Cable 7424 Mirror Glaze

I ordered the kit and few pads to give it a go. there are so many products i guess it will boil down to trial and error and personal preference
