Removed the PPF fm from my wife's car. There is a distinct difference in the paint that was protected by the PPF and the paint that wasn't. I'm guessing the base coat that wasn't under the PPF faded a bit and that's why it doesn't completely match. I have done a paint enhancement and that didn't help with the line but cleaned the paint up quite nicely.
I am wondering if anyone has tested and verified the validity of ceramic coatings reducing UV aging of paint. I'm going to PPF the front of my new F150 and ceramic coat the rest of the truck with CSL and ExoV4. I'll be using C2v3 as a topper every month or 2. Will that be enough protection to keep the paint from aging at a different rate as the pain protected by the PPF? Thanks in advance for any insight!
