Thanks for the research and links. I have plenty of bp's, just wanting to do something with the two that I won't be using anymore in their present state.
What I was looking for is the thread or video where some hand machined a bp in a vise with a razor. Another on a lathe. I don't remember which forum. Guess I'll pm the OP in the link that I provided as to which action he took.

This should do the trick as I only need to remove .25" or so.
