Liquid and paste Souveran layering

I have a question concerning this 2 great waxes. I have them both, but I'm not sure the order of layering:

Liquid then paste?
Paste then liquid?

I wanna make a Ferrari shine like nothing else.

I would say you may as well use just one, but if you want to use both, go with the liquid version first because it will contain more solvents than the paste version.

If you went with the paste version first, the higher solvent content in the liquid Souveran would be more likely to.....liquify?... (I'm not really sure what word I'm looking for) the original layer of paste wax. Unless you've left the wax to set for overnight (or have rinsed it with cold water first) the solvents might not have fully evaporated yet which will be what causes it to liquify.
 
I do not have either one but my understanding is that the paste is made for darker colors while liquid looks nicer on lighter colors. It depending what color the Ferrari is. If it is red, go for the paste version.

Use SSII for lighter colors if you perfer a paste.
 
There are three different and unique formulas to Pinnacle. Souveran paste is best used on solid colors with a higher reflective nature already (black, reds, yellows). SSII was designed to focus on all other colors and works extremely well on metallics too. Liquid Souveran was designed for those looking for a liquid version of wax that can be applied and allowed to dry completely prior to buffing. It works well on all colors.

so would red metallic (Spice Red Metallic GTO) be best with Souveran paste or SSII?
 
Just make sure you let the Liquid Souveran dry before you wipe it off. A little goes a long way. Make sure to apply thin because if you dont it can be a little hard to take off.
 
Is there a limit to how many layers I should put on? That is, if I am using it every other week, will I begin to get a hazy finish or less shine in the appearance of the paint?

I am also wondering about letting it dry, does it not say to do it section by section? I thought perhaps it was not supposed to fully dry?

Even though it doesnt say to let it dry you still can. It will still be easy to remove. It is just easier appling wax over the whole car and then remove it then apply/remove apply/remove over and over again

Applying every other week is redundant. Although paste Souveran is a beauty wax and will give you 4 weeks, why not use Souveran spray wax or Crystal Mist between waxing. Liquid Souveran should not be layered because of the solvent content that will only remove the previous layer. Again, use Souveran spray wax or Crystal Mist between waxing for more pop and durability.
 
that Crystal Mist looks like a great idea, I look forward to trying it.
 
I have received and used Crystal Mist, it is beautiful. Are Souveran spray wax and Crystal Mist basically one and the same? The ingredients described seem very similar.

Crystal Mist is a quick detail spray designed to remove small amounts of dusts ,fingerprints ,etc. Souveran Spray Wax is all wax - No cleaners
 
Liquid then paste - those are both great products just did a Black Benz today with that COMBO ! :buffing:
