I live in Massachusettes and have been using Liquid Glass sealer for 30 years.
I went to serveral autozones and NAPA'S and they don't sell it anymore.
One guy told me do to the contents it can;t be sold in mass, also that their main
distribution center went out of business, and I noticed that your store don't carry
Liquid Glass anymore. So I was wondering are they out of business ??? I bought
Duragloss 111 as my sealer and saw on here that it gets a 5 star review.

Good question Glenn. I used it several times in the early 80's and for some reason never went back. From what I remember it was a decent product but I haven't seen it around in quite a while...Maybe Google it and order it on-line, if you can?

Duragloss makes some top shelf product that won't disappoint....

while I don't know much about liquid glass other than I know the name . I have seen it (polish-finish lg-100)
locally along with some pre wax cleaner or something also . is there a whole line of products? supposedly avail through advance auto parts . if u r really looking and want this product and I can get it locally here- pm me and work something out ?

I see that I can get it on ebay also, and I am an ebay member so I could go that route. Thanks poweraid for your reply. I thought that they may have gone out of business or something !!!!

Yep, it's on ebay. Not sure why you'd still want it...I have a 20 yr old bottle / can I'd make you a deal on. :)

I have a client that has me use it on his 2006 Cadillac STS-V.

It goes on and comes off easily, he swears by it.

Just looked on Amazon and they've got a line of Liquid Glass items. Polish, detail spray, leather cleaner/polish etc.

I have been using Liquid Glass since high School so its been 20+ years. I have an auto store by me and he always has it. He might of stocked up on it; I get it for 19.95 a can or u can Ebay it.

The Napa by me stocks it but not much in the way of Duragloss, must be a regional thing.

It's basically a cleaner/wax...

It cleans, polishes and protects in one step. The protection ingredients are "wax" per se but regardless of what they are it fits into the catagory of a cleaner wax.

Two threads on it here,

Plus this,

Vintage Liquid Glass Pictures

Jimmy Buff-it, a friend of mine and a Pro Detailer in Indianapolis sent me this vintage can of Liquid Glass for my antique car wax collection.

Mike:
Thanks for jump-starting my long-term memory!

1.) Brought back memories of LG's: "Baking-in-the-Sun" curing methods, and trying to layer Liquid Glass up to their recommended rock-chip-proof-depth for test purposes...(Fail!)
2.) Brought back memories of: "Hearing" about some friends of mine fascination with black-lights, lava lamps, et al.

I bought the Duragloss 111 CCP, I tried it today with my PC XP7424 and grey 5.5 lake country pad and found that this product was very easy to work with and gave a great shine. It actually looked (light blue) and smelled alot like liquid glass and bought it from my local NAPA store. Also Mike thank you for all of your threads/ links.
