What do you guys think of liquid glass?

The reason I ask is that my dad loves this stuff because of its durability???

Is this more durable than, say AIO, or wolfgang?

What about the shine?

STOP!!!! I asked this same question some months back and its been $$$ ever since! It is durable from what I gather, but a better look with great durability is the AIO/SG combo.

Removal

Thanks, how do you strip Liquid Glass? Not on my car; my dad's.

No clue, try a search, it cam eup recently on here. I imagien an alcohol/water mix will take it off, if not any cleaner like AIO, P21S, etc should take it off.

You can use a claybar then a good cleaner wax or polish. There are products made specifically to remove the wax. Body shops use it as do shops who put decals/flames etc..

It is very durable and quite boring looking. An old design that is in need of some updates. I have found that in some cases you might need to use a commercial stripper for these older sealants. Prepsol, Acrysol, 3M Wax/Adhesive Remover are usually easy to use. Alcohol/water might penetrate and break down the sealant but more than likely will see better benefits using a paint polish (abrasive).

Yep.
Any paint polish or swirl remover will take off anything that's there. Wax or sealant.

Stole this from Liquid Glass Website....shhhh!;)

Q. How do I remove Liquid Glass Polish/Finish?

A. For purposes of applying another brand wax product, a good quality pre-wax cleaner will remove Liquid Glass Polish/Finish. For repainting, Varsol or mineral spirits should be used with steel wool.
