maybe some of you Chicago peeps can help, I am trying to find self serve car washes around the Lincoln park area and cant find nothing, only one i know of is on grand and damen. no touch less washes just cheap washes that use towels that looked to have been dropped 100 times and automatics that have them brushes that spin. I really starting to miss Michigan now. The c- class is parked for the winter since they salt like a mad man out here but i would like to keep the frame on my jeep from rusting. Also if i have to in the summer drive to that self serve wash and bucket wash it late at night then drive home and before i pull in garage hose it off real good and pull into my condo garage.

I have the opti rinsless but i am not to use on the jeep cause the paint is trashed , just car about the frame. The other is parked in the garage since there is not a spot of rust on it.

Man, Im in the same boat as you, I'm near soldier field, with a jeep. lol. I know theres two about 15-20mins northwest of me.

I swear this place makes me want to open up my own quarter car wash so i can wash my car right and so people can wash there's. But a lot of people don't care about there cars here. I can't even count how many times I have seen bmw's or a Benz with swirls all up and down the sides, and problly from one of these places that have $150 detail nightmar

Go stand outside state street hand wash and watch a black benz come out. you'll cry. I HAD to take my car there once cause of the salt on it and I now forever regret it. I had more swirls on my jeep after they had it then when I bought the jeep. sigh

I'm tempted to ask them JUST to powerwash it off. they powerwash, rub with a DIRTY wash mit full of soap, powerwash again then dry. I live two mins from this place, im really tempted to see if they'll just powerwash it off.
