Logo... where to go...

Where have you all gotten your logos created? In need of a new one and looking for feedback as to where to you all have had success getting them designed..
 
Just went with a company that was offering a good package for a decent price right now. Thought about fiverr, but decided to go a different route.

Thing with fiverr is once you start adding in vector files, transparency files, business card design and other add-ons, the price starts climbing quick..
 
Exactly. The hook is the $5... then it grows. Can't wait to see the new design! Was the company online or local?

I had my sister do mine in exchange for a detail :xyxthumbs: not the absolute best, but it works and I'm happy with it.

So... the first place I found... apparently they are a scam company and is no longer active. Called bank and caught it before payment got processed. So.. after this, I went back on Fiverr and checked out some guys. Found one with decent packages and pricing and took a chance.

After exchanging ideas, I got my first look at my new logo... still a few changes to make, but this is almost what it will be:



The logo is on a background and tilted for dramatic presentation from him, the standard files as well as the file with invisible background are not slanted with a standard horizontal plain.

Any feedback is welcome!
 
Here it is. I am pretty stoked about it and very pleased with the overall look, feel and design.



 
The one with the white background is cool.

But I kinda liked the simplicity of your old one with just the 2 R's.

Thanks. The white background is a png file with a transparent background actually.

Problem with my old logo, is 2 construction companies and a refrigeration company use something almost identical in my area.

Even though my new logo is widely used in the industry, in my area, its not, so it stands out and apart at the local level, which is where matters to me.
