okay, onto the sealants lol.

I am looking for a sealant that will hold longevity, perform what it's supposed to do, and still have that deep wet shine.

The order of my process will be using the xmt360 followed by one of these two sealants unless something else is better out there. Then after cured, topped with either wolfgang fuzion or my pinnacle sig II.

1) klasse high gloss sealant glaze
2) wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant

So again, i will start with the xmt360, then followed with a pure sealant for the added protection and then topped with either wolfgang fuzion or pinnacle sig II.

I need a sealant that will last 3-6 months, look excellent, and be able to be topped with one of the 2 waxes.

any and all input is much appreciated. thankyou very much.

Unless the paint has just been alcohol-wiped after polishing with XMT360, the Klasse Sealant Glaze will not bond to the surface of the vehicle. You really need to start with Klasse AIO when it comes to applying a coat or more of Sealant Glaze.

I suggest Wolfgang DGPS. It looks so good, seems to have solid durability, and features very easy application. But I have also heard very good things about the 4Star Ultimate Paint Protection Sealant.

I'm not an expert, but according to the label, WG 3.0 will do exactly what you want to do. It can be topped with any wax once it's cured.

Some sealants advertise a year's performance. A year of protection would take all the fun out of detailing a personal car.

but doesn't xmt 360 act as a sealant too? if i alcohol wiped it then the protective properties would be gone wouldn't they? I thought since the xmt360 is a sealant that it wouldn't be a problem for another sealant to bond to it(kind of like layering)?

i am leaning towards the wolfgang sealant. Would that sealant bond to the xmt360? What i want is the mild correction from the xmt360 along with the protective properties followed by the wolfgang sealant for the real added protective properties followed by the wolfgang fuzion or my sig II for the visual appearance.

I'm hoping this combo would work?

If not, then what would be my best bet for substituting the xmt360 for my paint correction that is easy to work with especially for a beginner to make the wolfgang sealant bond along with my nuba toppers?

anyone?
i think i am going to use xmt360 then i want to follow it with wolfgang dgps 3.0 and once cured topped with either fuzion or sigII.

will the 3.0 bond to my xmt360?

Klasse SG will indeed last longer than most sealants, but IMO Wolfgang and Four Star are wetter looking. Best part of using any sealant , there are now so many spray detailers that add gloss you can make them all look fantastic.

klasse seems out of the question due to bonding issues to the xmt360. i'm hoping wolfgang dgps will bond to the xmt 360? i have danase paint sealant(hope i can type that in here?)will dps bond to the xmt360? that is my biggest issue as of now and holding me back on my xmt order as we speak.

or....will xmt360 seal like a sealant with a couple months of durability?

i would really like to top the xmt360 with a sealant such as dps(since this is already on my shelf)and after cure time, follow with a topper such as fuzion or sig II.

thanks in advance and for your help.
