Hello everyone,
I've been crusing Autogeek for a few years now and all I can say is that it's been amazing. This site is a wealth of information, so many products, so many articles and techniques everywhere I look. I've learned almost everything I know about detailing from here...but I will say...
I have a detailing problem!
I find myself ONR'ing my car at 3am and layering coats of polish till about 6:00am on a regular basis (once or twice a week).
I do a bit of detailing on the side as well, primarily paint correction and compounding (Helps pay for the toys).
I'm not sure how restrictive the rules are here, but I don't use too much AutoGeek Product, I tend to stick with the Z Brand and love the results, I'm always looking around for better product though!
My first Mustang (2010 V6) probably had about 40+ coats of polish/glazes/sealant when I sold it to the buyer? Did layering help? Probably not, but it was very, very, relaxing and oh so much fun.
Anyways, just wanted to properly introduce myself here....and get posting!
Here are some pics:
The high reflection pics are of my 2010 V6 Mustang after 80,000km and being driven through 3 very harsh winters.
The "half and half" pic is one of my friend's Honda Pilot, his wife accidently washed it with scotchbrite pad....gotta love than Meg's 105 + 205 !
I sold that off and grabbed myself a new 2014 5.0 which I plan on detailing a hell of a lot more, but shes getting tucked away for the Winter, it can get quite brutal here!
