Sooooo, now that I have this Worx Powershot power washer I see myself doing more "traditional" carwashes but need my fellow geeks to suggest a great carwash soap for me. You see, I've been doing RW and WW's since joining AG only, mixing in quarter carwash trips and touch-free's along the way but 90% RW/WW's.

I have some criteria:

1. NO wax in it, my car is coated

2. quality product, this goes without saying

3. you REALLY know and use the product

Ok carwash soap enthusists, have at it and THANKS inadvance!

I like Optimum's car wash and Meguiar's Hyperwash. I use both and they clean well and are economical. No wax added in either. Both smell good, Optimum has a berry scent. HW has a good soap smell. I honestly don't know if I could tell the difference if you took away the scent. If I had to choose one car soap I would choose HW based on it being so economical.

I read good things about Carpro Reset, but have never used Reset, nor have I had coated car.

•Optimum Car Wash
•Meguiar's D110 Hyper-Wash

I'm not into traditional wash soaps but it seems like the ones that get the most love are Reset, Optimum, and Hyper-Wash

CarPro Reset and Meguiars Hyperwash.

Meguiar's Hyperwash
CarPro Reset
McKee's 37 Xtreme Foam
Rupes M101 if you are looking for something that doesn't have a lot of suds
Optimum actually has a little bit of polymers in it but it works well and won't mess up your coating

Thank you everyone, looks like a couple are popping up across the board. Is the Meg's OTC?

I'm gonna agree with The Guz on McKee's 37 XF. I'm liking this more & more every time I use it.

Nope. It's in the detailer line.

There are not many OTC soaps with no waxes or gloss enhancers. Maybe one of the Griot's one's.

Are we talking about Optimum hyper wash here?

I've tried many different soaps over the years and I'm back to using Meguiar's Hyperwash. You can't beat the cleaning ability for the price. A little really does go a long way.

I love using CarPro's Reset. But, it does come with a price.

???
You've been on this forum over 5 years (actively) with 12,000+ posts and you're asking if Megs Hyper Wash is a OTC product. Then you try to call it Optimum hyper wash. What's going on? Did you hit you head lately or are you just messing with us?
