Hi all

Looking for a quality glass polish to machine apply with GG 3 inch polisher.

The GG3 hardly removes defects on paint. I would be surprised if it could even shine up glass. There's no way its going to remove water spots or scratches. You really need a rotary for glass polishing. I think Mike has a writeup about this.

Anyways, to answer your question I really like GG Heavy Glass polish and the CarPro rayon glass pads.

Car Pro's Ceriglass, but you need something with a little more power than that GG3. If you are only removing light water spots, Duragloss Nu Glass with your GG3 should do the job.

Thanks. how about a flex 3401 on glass??

Ps. I'm wondering wether my investment in the gg 3 inch was a smart choice. Been hearing a lot of negative feed back about it.

You can also try Poorboy's ProPolish 2. It works pretty well on glass but does not contain cerium oxide that is needed to remove wiper marks, etc.

Sure you can use a Flex on glass. As noted the DG Nu Glass or the Zaino equivalent are good, mild polishes. If you want to remove defects you will need to use Ceriglass or similar, make sure you use lots of water. There is some difference of opinion on whether you need a rotary and the CarPro or Griot's glass pads to do this or whether you can do it with a DA and foam pads.

I have been intrigued by a US supplier that promotes the use of a series of 3M abrasive discs for use on glass--if I didn't have a bunch invested already in doing it the other way, I would give the "sandpaper" method a try.

If you're just going to be "cleaning" auto-glass with
the GG-3"...Mothers Chrome Polish will suffice.
