Looking for a good,strong,eco friendly apc from Home depot

I am looking for something that is a good all purpose cleaner from Home depot that I could use to clean rims, tires and other parts. Anybody know?
 
Ive heard people recommend zep and zep citrus I think is what it's called.
 
Best one at home depot is zep citrus on rims, purple on tires, dilute both 1:4.
 
What is the difference between the degreaser and the citrus, would the citrus work on the tires and vice versa
 
from my understanding degreaser is basically a heavier duty apc, and thus more potent/risky

why not go with apc+ and megs super degreaser from autogeek?

The citrus will work on both, the degreaser, you'd have to be really careful on some rims. The citrus works on tires but to me lacks the surfactants to really pull the dirt out deep in the tire.
 
I want something cheap and effective, bc using a bottle of mothers wheel cleaner every time is way too expensive, so zep citrus is my best bet im guessing

Go for the Zep Citrus bottle and see how it works for you. If it doesn't work well enough you only wasted $4. There is another product I am about to test called LA's Totally Awesome. Got the concentrate hat the dollar store.
 
mothers wheel and tire is an incredible product, if you'd like it cheaper just buy it by the gallon :xyxthumbs:
 
True, however im a "younger person" and do not really have an income. I would want something that will suffice , but will do the job right. Mothers is good, but is expensive when shipped
 
If you have a Dollar General store near you, pick up some Amazing cleaner. Dilute it 4:1 as its strong. Cheap and works like crazy. It's amazing.
