Any tips/advice on my bundle and technique?

pc 7424xp
m105
cg v32
meguiars ultimate polish
meguiars carbauba wax
ccs and hexlogic pads

I start off washing with meguiars gold class car wash then followed by a claybar. m105 with a orange (medium cutting) pad then UP with a white (polishing pad). Then finish it off with a hand wax. If the car has a soft cc I usually skip the orange pad and use the white polishing pad with the m105 and UP.

I was using meg ultimate synthetic wax for a while but a couple days ago I opened my bag and found its turned "watery".

v32 has a long work time and its very aggressive but it leaves a white haze so I tend to stay away from it.

Is there anything I can do to get a glossier look? There's a ton of glazes and finishing products as well as waxes on the market so trial and error can get pricey.haha

Thanks in advanced guys!

M105 is very aggressive.

May I ask you why you started
with the 105?
CG v32 is also aggressive.

What are you working on?
Any pictures of the paint?

Don't always assume you need to start with M105. Try the UP on a white pad first and see if you get the results you are looking for or if you need to get more aggressive.

UP should give you a nice finish. If you feel you need to amp it up a bit more, try a glaze before you seal/wax (something like Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish).

What's the difference between a glaze and a polish like UP?

:iagree: M105 and V32 are compounding polishes. They are aggressive in removing swirls. If you use either of them, you will have to (IMO) follow up with a polishing compound (M205 and I believe V38). But HateSwirls is correct, what do you want to accomplish with what you are doing and how bad is the paint. Either way V32 and M105 are compounding polishes. Once used, they will have to be followed up with a polishing compound. Then you can do the LSP.

Do you think I'd benefit from adding a glaze? So it would go m105, UP, glaze, then wax. I just want a glossier/wetter look. Its really easy to get that look on my own car because the clear coat is soft but on most cars with hard ccs I don't get that popping look.
