Looking for wax

Pinnacle black label synergy. I might be a bit based since that's my favourite wax in the world.

Hey Ron,

I see your profile pic. I want to thank you for your service.

As for your issue at hand, the best way to make metallic flake pop is a good polish to enhance, followed by a great wax, sealant, or coating to enhance and protect. You will get many many recommendations. But they all depend on proper preparation of the surface.

As for recommendations....if it absolutely has to be a wax.......Optimum Spray Wax.

Otherwise....I love CarPro Reload and Optimum OptiSeal.

Collinite 914 or 476

My truck is a lighter gray metallic, but when done with HD speed, and topped with 845, I have had a ton of people ask me how I get my truck to shine like that. :)

Not so much as doing a multi step on it because as soon as I detail it, the wife drives it and that drives me nuts because she says that I am OCD when it comes to caring for the cars.
In turn, what I am looking for as well, is that I think a nice detailed car can bring additional business.

Yep, I'm a steel pot guy too. Lol. Doggone Kevlars were too heavy and you couldn't dig a hole or wash with them.

For that particular paint-system, I'll
suggest Sealants instead of Waxes.
(I wouldn't think you'd want to have
Waxes occlude the finish a short time
down the road)

Without further ado:
Here's one course of action that'll
surely meet that requisite:

1.) If you start off with using this:
3M Imperial Hand Glaze is a gentle moisturizer, especially for beautifying freshly painted surfaces! ($19.99)

2.) And follow up by sealing that gloss with:
3M Perfect-It Show Car Liquid Wax, 3m 39026, liquid car wax, 3M car waxes, perfect it wax ($12.99)

3.) You'll be well pleased with the result...
and all of that at a nominal price-point.

Amen to that brother, on the steel pot.

I like Collinite and Griots Best of Show Paste

Love waxes If it were me the Pinnacle Souveran's Paste or Liquid wax. I like the Poorboy's Blue or Red as they are reasonably priced. Many will tell you to get any Collinite waxes. I am not a Collinite guy (Blasphemy!). Collinite can be finicky when applying and removing from your ride. But either way Welcome to AGO! It is awesome that you serve our Country! Huuuraaa!

A great sealant can be used too. Maybe Menzerna Powerlock or Wolfgang's Sealant. Menzerna has an excellent liquid wax too called colorlock! Good hunting for what you choose and when you do please show pics!!

I really like Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant but this Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Plus I put on this one fender looks great, too!

Duragloss 111-- the gloss is amazing. I think it'd be good on your light colored paint. Use it with the DG 601 bonding agent for better longevity.

I ended up going with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax PIN-315, and some HD Speed to try out.
Also converting my GG-6 to the 5" backing plate with 5.5 pads. I was going to pull the trigger on the GG-3 but after reading some reviews, it's motor is not enough to do some paint correcting.

I hear the GG3 is great for applying wax/sealer with 4" pads :)

In that case the least effort way would be to use optimum car spray wax as a drying aid after a good wash..

Use this his fater each wash and you'll get nice results for total minimum effort...
