So I'm a little mad that I looked at best buys website Thursday night and they had a 27 inch for 99 and a 50 inch for 189....It said all weekend but when I looked back at it they were gone! So here I am looking for another one but honestly don't have a ton of time to be looking today.

Anyone know who might have the best deal on a 32-40 inch tv...May get a 27 if its really cheap. Its going in my shop...maybe buy one for home too!

Thanks for any help!!:xyxthumbs:

In your shop...is that for the customers to watch while they are waiting, or for you?

I was asking because I don't know what quality you are looking for (60 vs. 120 Hz, 720 vs. 1080, name brand vs. off brand). Best Buy has a 32" Dynex, 720p 60Hz for $180. I have had good luck buying a small Dynex for a gift, and the Insignia brand seems ok as well, I would recommend looking at them first (the picture, viewing angle). Other than that, Target seems to have Westinghouse 37" LED or 40" LCD for $300, and Walmart has a bunch of cheap stuff, Sceptre 40" for $270.

I always buy my TV's from Costco, they have great deals! We have a 60" we paid around $1,100 for.....it was cheap because it had the word "power" misspelled by the plug on the back of the TV......it was spelled "pwoer", perfect TV otherwise. Apparently as I talked to the salesman most Costco and other wholesale companies TV's all have a lot of misspelled words from the factory and that is their only defect, but since they need a perfect product they can't really offer them to the public, so costco and other buy them cheap and flip them for slightly more....so try costco, we have 3 tv's from there and they've been going fine, one for 4 years now!

I know AG has rules about posting to a competitor site, but since this is for TV's I dont know if they can bend the rule, since AG isn't in the wholesale TV business....however if AG doesn't want the link shown I understand and I can delete it if need be, anyway here is what we got http://www.costco.com/Sharp-AQUOS-6...ED™-LCD-HDTV-LC60C6400U.product.11752362.html

I was looking into that 32 from best buy but dont know anything about tvs..

IMO, I always buy backlit or edgelit LED TV's....the offer less energy consumption, and have better blacks and come in a nice warmer picture color and tone. However, honeslty, most human eyes can't really notice these differences, so if you're looking for something I suggest go LED. Honeslty, like detailing go with whatever works for you and what fits your budget. We got the big TV because me and the lady love watching movies, and between my xbox and ps3 fun, it was a no brainer. Either way enjoy your purchase!

According to the CNBC report in April, 2012, there are a number of reasons they sell for less:
1. They charge a yearly Membership Fee starting at $55.00.
2.They only carry about 4,000 items, compared to 50,000 in a supermarket OR 100,000 in Walmart.
3. They markup their products never more than 15%, compare that to 25% for a supermarket or 50% for a department store.
4. Theirs is a warehouse environment (NO Frills).
How can you beat $1.50 for a giant hotdog & bottomless soda?
Here is a trick they use to keep customers coming back by the droves (their sales were $98 BILLION last year): they put about 1,000 unannounced items on deep discounts(50% off or more) and never announce them, so they want us all to come looking for these items every day. I think it may be working!!! When we first moved to Bend, OR in 2007, the local Costco had 5 or 6 aisles of tools. Now, it is like 1 aisle, with clothing and books greatly expanded.
I almost sound like a salesman for them, but I am just a member. I am just curious as to how the BEST companies are successful.
