According to my poll... most guys think it's their technique that is the most important factor.

Me? I 100% disagree.

When it comes to polishing paint, if your goal is to make it LOOK GOOD then the most important factor is the abrasive technology.

I test everything on black paint as it's the only true test for any compound, polish or cleaner/wax. Lets hope Gyeon has done their homework and their new products use great abrasive technology.

Of course, it won't matter for all those guys with great technique.

And, IMO:
It shouldn't necessitate being a
Tribologist to grasp this concept.

Gyeon is an amazing company with excellent products, we are happy to be carrying the line!

Their products remind me of CarPro products. Are the two companies related in some way?

Thanks

Agree with Mike Phillips, the abrasives are the key.

I'd like more info on these "Japanese abrasives".

Maybe Mike Phillips will get samples in to test?!?

A Korean company with Japanese abrasives. What, all out of Korean abrasives? Lol. Tac Systems, Gyeon, and CarPro all very similar South Korean origin products. All very good products. Many threads on the old interweb on who makes what and conspiracy theories. Just buy the least costly product and be happy. Detailing products are kind of like beer, some add water to decrease the alcohol content. Like Hydro2 and Hydro2lite. Buy Hydro2 and adjust for desired effect. I love SEMA.
