Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a newbie to the world of auto detailing. I would really appreciate help on techniques and products or anything else you might think of. The project I'm going to attempt is a white 04 corolla with moderate to severe oxidation on the horizontal surfaces. I have a PC 7336 I used in woodworking for the machine work and my plan of attack is as follows: clay the entire car. I had a bra on the front and with it off you can definitely see a difference. No amount of scrubbing will remove the dirt in the surface. Second, Use some type of compound to rid the car of oxidation without getting rid of any paint(I hope). Third, a gentler foam pad and polish to fine tune the surface of any swirl marks and fourth, a liquid or paste wax to bring back some shine. Not sure of the brands either.....any help will probably save an otherwise good car............Thanks..............Paul
