Well I got ahold of a qt of M205 and have had the chance to try it on a few different vehicles with different correction needs, I had a Jag that I had detailed about 6 months ago White and on the soft side, since the owner was paying for one step to enhance the gloss I tried it out on it and almost got full correction, topped with Dg 105 and it was extremely wet looking.
Next was a 2006 M35 with very minor swirls, I was able to do most of the car with the 205, a couple of spots I hit with Mez power finish but great results none the less
So it brings me to this a 2001 Black BMW 325xi with 103,000 miles, very beat up and really need to be trizact, but because of the project price range it was out of the question, I did do a bit of spot sanding but I wanted to show the finish when applied as directed from Meguiars with a new process I have been using for finishing
Here was my polishing process
Done with the 3403 Flex LW Rotary(which is a godsend, might I add)
Lc 5in Orange and 6 in sonus yellow with M105 set to 3
ONR wipe down
LC 5in White and sonus 6in white with M205 start at 3, finished at 2
leave all product on the car
Black Cobra 6.5in pad with M205 set to 1.5
Like I said the car need a lot of correction and should have been trizact, so it isnt 100% but a great finish none the less, I will post the full detail sometime Monday evening
Befores
After 105/205 combo
the 205 works unlike any MG product I have used, just like stated on the AG page, it doesnt gum up, has a great work time, with little product needed, it is easy to remove and does a great job of cleaning up the mess left behind from the 105, the finish is superb with nothing micro to worry about, just seal it and go.
Buy it!!!
Thanks for looking!!!
