I was wondering if anyone else had problems with M205 turning into a watery mixture, and reducing its polishing ability? I bought a gallon of M205 during the summer, and it was ok at first but now its very runny. Surely the shelf life of this product is longer than a few months.
I always kept this gallon container indoors away from extreme weather. I did shake it very thoroughly to see if it thickened up, but it would not. I compared it to some M205 that I bought in a quart container and there is a big difference in how thin it is.
Does Autogeek or Meguiars resolve these issues, or do I need to buy more, I still had over half a gallon left. It seems like a waste of money to throw it out.
I also bought a gallon of M105 the same time I bought M205 and the 105 is still in good condition.
Any suggestions?

It should not be a consistent like "water". Maybe you had a bad batch that was carelessly sold to you.

Call the support line at Meguiars. The number is located at the back of their products. They really stand behind their products and should take care of you.

The weird thing is, when I first got it, it was ok until I needed to refill my bottles, and it was just really runny. Its been kept indoors the whole time, and shaken up every once in a while to make sure the product did not settle or seperate. I have used the runny 205 and it just seems like its not working properly. I was just curious if anyone else had this problem too?
Should I contact Autogeek first or just Meguiars?
Is M205 sold in any stores besides online? I kinda need it for a job coming up, and dont wanna pay big bucks to get it shipped overnight.

I get all of my Megs products from Mirror Glaze, a detailing store in Louisville, KY. I know the guy who owns it thats why I use him. Id say just look in a phone book and look for a detailing store if you cant wait for shipping from AG. My 2cents

Meg's will probably replace it. I called them about a problem I was having with M105 thinking it was me and they just went ahead and replaced it. Usually they ask for proof of purchase and a container but didn't in my case. Not sure they would overnight it.

Of course AG has been terrific about replacing bad products. But I imagine they will require you to ship it in first before turning it around.

I guess it depends on how long you've had it and AG's policies. Either one will probably make it right for you. Just pick up the phone and call both and figure out what your best option would be.

Well, I sent a few emails to Meguiars and Autogeek, and Meguiars responded first and will resolve my problem. Meguiars definitely stands behind their products even though I did not buy it from them directly. Thanks to everyone for the advice!
