I just used the magic eraser on a few black trim pieces I had gotten polish on and the magic eraser took the wax right off. Just wanted to share some info.. :righton:

Anyone else try this?

It works great for removing wax residue but i would be careful about how much you use it. It is known to fade plastic if you scrub too hard.

Thanks for the tip Charlie. It took the wax residue right off. Anyone use it with adverse effects?

Yeah, I've seen it change the color of trim, but sometimes that may be the better option. Bad black scuff marks on beige trim. What would you rather have the mark or a light spot?

I use them inside the car on scuff panels (where shoes bump). Careful as some have cleaners in them and can leave residue.
