maguiars 1.0 and 2.0 complete now what?

so I used 1.0 and 2.0 on my car with a high speed buffer came out nice. i clayed vehicle first. Paint was already in great shape but now its just got more pop. I followed it with maguiars 7 polish then topped it off with mag ultimate paste wax. could i have used a pre wax cleaner between any of those steps i figured no point since i did 1.0 and 2.0 they would take care of it. wondering if there is anything else i could do to really bring this paint out to its max potential. its silver gm paint year of vehicle is 2004. thanks for tips.
 
im so sorry i had names and numbers wrong 105 and 205 wow i feel dumb now.

With the above answer to clear up any confusion, then on to these two questions from your first post...

The answer is no, the compounding and polishing took care of what a paint cleaner would have done and and together they would have done a much better job.

M205 is a great finishing polish, some people would have done a third step using an even finder finishing polish like the Menzerna PO85RD
