I picked up on Craigslist an A/V cart like this

For Cdn $ 30.00 :) and it has a 3 outlet powerbar on it.

The dims are 24" x 32" x 44" (H)

I am looking for ideas on how to modify the cart.

Thing I am looking at is to mount a rack to hold detailing products, add a PVC pipe to hold a wash brush (for roofs of SUV), a hook to hold extension cord. a drink holder.

As well as one of these mounted to one side to hold MF and pads

What else would you add if you where going to build a Detailing Cart

Feed back please

haha, I remember those from High school. They had the TV on them and would cart them out for the morning news or what not. I think adding some of those plastic bins would be nice and maybe something up top so bottles dont fall over.

Or...Add bottle holders to one side for your spray bottles.....

Make sure the plug strip is okay for your power tools, too small of a wire gauge will not be good for your power tools! I use at least a 12ga wire extension cord.

The cart it self is made of a 'plastic' type matterial, but the thought of bumper gaurds did cross my mind.

The powerbar lookd to be at least 12 g but I may remove it and install it on my bench the has my bandsaw, grinder, drillpress, etc.

I would like to get or build something like this for the bottles

but keep the ideas coming

Def. need a radio on the bottom!

This audio entertainment suggestion got me to thinking about a possibly better solution for someone who doesn't wanna be slowed down by needing to pick up phone calls and would like to simplify incoming calls and music.

I use this combo when I wanna listen to music while working and need to be hands-free but able to accept incoming calls:
With this combo I have all my music (saved to a 16 gig micro SD card inside the phone) playing and can accept (or ignore) incoming calls without slowing down for a minute.

I have built the cart, thanks for your ideas, but no mini fridge :(

Pictures will be posted soon
