I just got a Makita 9227c polisher and it came with a wool pad and a synthetic pad.

My wife's white Toyota is a bit oxidized... so I'm going to wash and clay the car and wanted to use an AIO product.

I'm in a bit of a pinch financially right now...

Can I use the SYNTHETIC PAD at 1000/1200 rpm that came with the Makita to apply the AIO product?

Or is this pad much too AGGRESSIVE for this purpose?

Thanks!

It's not that the pad is "too" aggressive it's that the combination of the

  • Pad
  • AIO
  • Rotating action of the rotary buffer

Will tend to leave swirls i the paint. Some people don't care about swirls, heck they don't even now what they are...
