Marketing for Pre-Cold Weather

If preliminary long-range forecasts are accurate, the U.S. will have a very cold late fall and winter season everywhere but the Southeast.
Will you pros contact your customers and offer "Pre-Cold Weather Special Packages?" Something like: To preserve your vehicle's looks and longevity for the coming rough weather, take advantage of our extra-care specials.
  • Packages could include a guaranteed number of rinseless/waterless washes with spray wax/sealant over the period for a pre-set price.
  • An enhanced protection package including sealant treatment.
  • Or a guaranteed protection package that includes a coating.
Is anyone using these tactics? How do they work for you?
 
Absolutely. Education is my biggest investment. The more I can educate my clients, the better off they are, and the more business I receive. Educate your clients on the difference between what each package offers. LISTEN to what your clients want. THEN educate them on what providing "this" or "that" can do for them. Explain the benefits.

So to be honest, YES, I use tactics like cold weather and "pre" cold weather to my advantage.
