How can I get squished marshmallow out of carpet?

I've picked out what I could by hand. The remaining marshmallow is embedded into the carpet.

get a can of dust off, it is used to blow air on key boards, hold it long enough on the spot it will actually great super cold air, freeze the marshmallow and chip out of the carpet fibers

For best results, invert the can


There are also commercial carpet cleaning supply stores that have solvent based gel cleaners for gum, that would probably work great for your needs
