I know a lot of people use a leaf blower to dry their cars but has anybody ever used a metro master blaster to blow leaves?

I didn't know if it had the power to move leaves off the driveway from standing erect or if one would have to kneel down a bit to get the nozzle closer to the ground? Or if one could rig an extension tube of some kind?

I use mine to blow out my garage and driveway weekly. It has more than enough power to move loose debris without bending down. If you are talking about tons of leaves packed together, then no. If you are talking scattered, loose leaves, then yes.

I've used my Air Force Blaster (half of a Master Blaster) to blow leaves out of my car wash area before a wash. Yes, you have to bend over a bit, and of course it works a lot better on dry leaves rather than wet, but I'm sure the Master would do better.

EDIT: As above, I've also used mine to blow out the garage.

:iagree:...I use mine anytime I need clean compressed air...:xyxthumbs:

Thanks guys, if I can use it to blow a few light leaves off the driveway or blow the dust out of the garage, that's enough justification to spend the bucks for me!

I like your rational!! :props:

You will be surprised how many uses it has. Waiting on a pad to dry before finishing a detail? Not any more. Hate towel drying your buckets and accessories after a detail? Not any more. Aftr using them, Blow off your law mower, weedeater or kids toys before bringing them in the garage. I've even used it to dry my shoes after washing my car cause they tend to get a little wet. If you can't tell, I freaking love this thing!!! FYI read my post in your best infomercial voice, it makes it more entertaining lol!

Anybody (especially with a dark colored car) use their master blaster to do "touchless dusting?"

I use the MB for that on my white car, but being white it's hard to tell how well it works. It seems to work well (assuming you have a good slick baseline topcoat) but a black car would be the real test.

edit: actually that little hand held model (I forget what it's called) would be more convenient for touchless dusting, just not sure the reduced power is enough.

Well I bought a leaf blower/weedeater combo last spring for doing lawn work, the leaf blower is too weak to push the water off of my truck! Doesn't work as a leaf blower either, to be honest.. lol

It works well on dust that has settled on your car. For example a car that sits in a garage for three days after a wash. It will remove that dust with ease. It will not remove road dust or pollen that is very fine and somewhat bonded to the surface.
