i have a continuing problem with my master blaster from metro vac. love it and the small 4hp vac too but the damn hoses kink when moving it around the garage this leads to a crushed hose and eventually the blow off the vacumn at the perfect wrong time. i have tried most everything. gorilla duct tape (it laughs at that) the reason i am annoyed is that i cut the hell out of my forearm with a razor knife doing a fix on the fly during a full detail 9 stiches. what do you guys do to keep the hose on and working properly? thanks for any help dave

I wish I could help more .... but man sorry for the news on stitches. Hope you find a remedy quick. Does Metro offer an replacement or additional hoses with a lock feature ??

I dont have one but had a similar problem with a CG blower. Cinch a tie wrap tight around the hose at the blower outlet, Cut off excess and file the rough edge down with an emory board. Mine doesnt fall off anymore, Hope this helps and work safe!

called metro vac in new york and wow they are sending a new one no questions asked. they are family owned and really old school in customer service. i am grateful and impressed. the 8 hp blower is a beast blows crap out of wheel wells that is hidden to naked eye. i love it.
