I put McKees wheel coating on my wheels and then I wiped them down an hour later and there is a ton of little scratches now on the wheels. The wheels are brand new. Doesn't make sense to me. I used some polish to Polish the scratches out and put some more coating on it. Anyone???

One hour?

All you did was remove some coating (providing you used good micro that wasn't crapped up)

Apply coating, wait 30-60 seconds, wipe. LEAVE ALONE for 24+ hours, don't use soap wash for 7 days

So you left the coating in for an hour before buffing it off? More than likely you are seeing high spots.

Does it say :Wait a few minutes and remove any excess using a soft microfiber towel?!

I applied same coating when it's still called DP.

Applied it with foam applicator pad until they are almost not visible anymore and then buffed right away to prevent high spots and I had great result

NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM! Used a foam applicator and buffed off with a clean MF.

Can you please post a picture?

I can't imagine a coating causing scratches...
