Mechanic Needed In Brandon FL

Looking for a mechanic in Brandon Florida area...my daughter is in school and needs front rotors, pads etc worked on for her Chevy Equinox...I cant do as I am in Maryland. She took it to one shop and quoted over $1K...umm...dont think so...

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Maybe look if there are any local Vocation schools in that area. Free labor :xyxthumbs:

But is the place that quoted her $1,000+ the place that told her she needed new rotors and pads? If so, I would have another shop check the car out, they could just be saying that to get a good $1,000.
 
Sadly enough I still see shops attempting to take advantage of people; especially out of state college students. I think it is a smart move asking on this forum. Good luck.
 
I got buddy down there, I'm just not sure where he is relative to Brandon. I've got a message out to him. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry, the guy I was thinking of is 3 hours south and didn't know of anyone in the area.
