Anyone try this stuff out yet? Just got a gallon in today. Smells amazing.... can’t wait to try it out. One feature it claims it has is easy rinseability. Something I really appreciate in a car wash.... hence why I love Optimum car wash.
 
Not yet. Looking forward to your results. Depending how good of a wax it leaves, one could skip a drying aid and go straight to drying.

Then you could skip the drying aid when useing a car soap without any wax if you already have a good wax from the start on your paint. The drying aid is for them that feel like they need lubrication to their drying towel. I trust my drying towels to be so gentle that they would not be marring the paint. And use a QD or a glossenhancer after washing and drying to ad something extra to the LSP I have already. So it's not always I use that either.

I thought citrus blast wash & wax where based on citrus oils that is a very effective cleaning agent. But it's only for the smell it's called citrus blast. A little missleading I think the name is. But hope it's a great wash & wax car soap. Will be intresting to hear what you think about it.
 
I have a gallon and have yet to try it. Will probably try it later today.

Do you use some type of detail spray when drying for lubrication? Something like WGU, ONR, UWW+, or maybe even just somethin like D155?

When I do a traditional wash, which isn’t very common for me.. I become torn sometimes between wanting to see the true longevity of my LSP and just using a spray wax because it’s so easy to do.

Hell, even when I’m doing a rinseless wash.. it’s hard to just wash with ONR and dry it and walk away. Never thought that would be a problem I’d have, but here we are lol.

Tried out this soap yesterday. Had a nice lubricity at the recommended 1 oz per gallon however I think next time I might up it to 1.25 for a just a little extra. Its been a while since I used Gold Class but I recall it having higher lubrication. It foamed quite well with my electric pw. Hand wash was pleasant as was the scent. Its a very nice fruit blend smell. Cleaning power was good as it removed most of the bonded contaminants easily with a swipe or two of my wash mitt.

Overall the soap didn't totally wow me but it also didn't disappoint me. Another good value from Megs. I guess in the end, a soap is a soap right? lol
 
I have a gallon of it, which I purchased the same time I bought the citrus power cleaner +. Power cleaner is a great interior carpet/upholstery cleaner by the way.

As for the citrus car soap, as I was using it I felt as if I should have used ultimate wash/wax (the yellow soap that is my personal favorite smelling product from Meguiars). Citrus soap is ok but ultimate wash/wax leaves a better coat of protection IMO.

I have a gallon of it as well and I also like uww but to me hyper wash trumps them both. The citrus is about the same consistency as hyper wash in the foam gun as far as suds but it just seems that hw does a better job for about the same price
