Hey folks...
Wanted to get your opinion if there's a real difference between Meguiars APC+ and SuperClean (purple jug; formerly Castrol SuperClean).
I have both and use the APC+ (at a 1 pt. solution to 3 pts. water) for more automotive cleaning purposes. I know APC has a low-sudsing property that makes it good for carpets/interiors, but I LOVE SuperClean for other general cleaning tasks. At equal strengths, I'm thinking APC+ is slightly more gentle and SuperClean is more caustic (or damaging if used improperly). However, SuperClean is much less expensive and easier to find (local Walmart for example).
Anyone know if there's a real difference?
Feedback is gratefully appreciated!

Probably alot of differences. Not sure your question is clear enough thats why your not getting much response. They are both APCs so they are similar but there are hundreds of APCs on the market and tons of differences in them.

We have a motto here that goes "Find what works for you and use it" Super Clean is a GREAT cleaner and as you said is sorta caustic if you leave it on some materials.

IMO:
Comparing their MSDS sheets may be
the best way to determine if there are
any differences.

Hasn't APC+ (D-103) been discontinued?

Bill...
I guess I'm a bit behind the curve on that APC+. The jug I have is almost empty, and I bought it probably 6 years ago. I was thinking of replenishing, but if it's not on the market anymore, then ??????????
