I got asked a question today via PM, so I thought I'd post the Q and the answer so everyone could partake.
The first question was.
https://www.autogeek.net/meguiar-s-hyper-wash.html
I live in AZ, where everyday, we're just walking on sunshine! Typically I don't have the option of washing in the shade... Sun safe meaning, I have no issues using it in direct sunlight and after my rinse, I see no residue of soap on the vehicle. With that is as disclaimer: I WOULD NOT wash my vehicle in direct sun during the summer months when temps reach 110-120 degrees outside. That's just plain silly... Most of the time my wash is somewhere between 8:30am and 9:am where the sun has already come over me East / West facing house.
Most of this R8 was washed in the sun until we got in the shop for the rest of the detail. As you can see here, the sun has already come around on the north west side of the vehicle:
Same here on this 911, the sun is hitting the vehicle
And here on this Maxima, the sun is hitting the South West side of the car
My own vehicle was washed yesterday in direct sunlight at 12:30 pm, mid-day and it was 91 degrees out.
The key to this working in sunlight is having the right water. This is a Deionized / Demineralized Water Tank to process our water to offer a spotless wash.
I can wash directly in sunlight and literally have no spots.
While the bottle and marketing does not specifically state that Megs D110 is "sun-safe" I can attest that in AZ sun, I have no issues.
Ideally my washes are before the strength of the sun hitting... During summer months, I wouldn't dare doing a car in direct sunlight when it's 107-119 degrees outside... Not just for the sake of the car but of me as well.
Overall, I love Megs D110 and use it in the foam gun, bucket etc.. It is very smooth, has a nice scent and really gets the job done. And at 400:1 @ $25.00 per gallon, you can't go wrong!
I have ordered some CarPro reset to see the difference on coated vehicles, but I think D110 is pretty amazing for the value.
The first question was.
Yes, although it's not mentioned on the product description:Is HW D110 safe?

I just read a post asking people if they liked HW because I'm thinking of getting some and unfortunately I'm in the sun alot.
