Got a sample of this from AG to test out. It's been a while - I pretty much stopped detailing my cars during the long winter, so this is later than I intended.

One of the items I got was a Megs detailing apron. Summary: It's an apron with two pockets in the front. They're fairly flat pockets. It fits like an apron.

Longer story: Pretty much the same as the summary. Hard for me to imagine why or when I would wear a detailing apron. The pockets would only hold small items, and even of they would hold larger items, I'd be worried about stuff banging into my car. If you want an apron, it should work just fine. It's black, has the Megs name on it, and seems to be one-size-fits-all. It fit me fine.

I have one of those too. I wear it thinking it'd protect my belt from scratching the paint & to hold a towel or two.

That's a good idea. I've learned to take off my belt, ring, take knife out of my pocket (external clip) and anything else that's a potential paint scraper.

I wear one almost always when detailing. Keeps compound off my clothes when buffing, plus I can keep a terry towel or pad-cleaning brush in one pocket for on-the-fly pad cleaning, and an MF in the other for wiping off compound. I usually also keep a hotel room key in a pocket for spreading product when priming an MF pad, and a couple Q tips and toothpicks for crevice cleaning. Plus, like was mentioned it's a safe way to keep belt buckle off the paint.

i have a microfiber one with 5 pockets i wear. i use it to hold towels. I use a lot of towels
