Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Plus+ Quik Wax, spray wax, car wax spray

since i braved the weather yesterday, and the xterra was still clean this morning, i broke out the megs GC QW to try out.

$9.99 for 16oz. (mine was free from a megs kit).
sprays on in a milky white thin watery base (almost like a QD)
spray on panel and spread out with MF. then simply buff out.

i will give credit to megs here. it did not streak or smear and will not stain plastics. it was easy to work with. for a OTC product, i cant fault it. it did leave a just waxed look finish. it also claims it can be used in direct sun and excels on black.

total working time was about 10-15 min.

would i go out of my way for it? probably not. i can think of other quik waxes that would excel in this area. BF MIDNIGHT SUN SPRAY WAX comes to mind. along with DURAGLOSS AQUA WAX.

3m suggests using quik wax on my vinyl wrapped car so i have a few bottles. No complaints from me... Very quick and easy and doesn't make the matte finish look glossy. Not sure about the longevity of it. Vinyl tends to bead water naturally so I'm not sure if the product is doing it or the vinyl, i just wax it often enough to make sure i have some protection on it ;)

i have read about 2-3 weeks of protection.

I use it on my truck and it looks very good for what it is. I use it about once a month as a booster

I've used the Ultimate Quick Wax and liked it alot. Doesn't last too long, but it's not supposed to. I will use it again.
