Hello all,

I was in the market for a new car wash liquid and almost purchased Hyperwash from my local megs dealer but decided against it as it is mainly used as a snow foam. I already have plenty of honeydew for this. I wanted shampoo plus but they do not stock it here :(

I remember reading somewhere that megs NXT was an amazing car wash and to my surprise there were 3 64oz bottles sitting at the meguiars distributor in UAE so I purchased them, along with D156, some spray bottles and QID's. :buffing:

Fast forward to later in the day when I got home and I was looking online for some reviews etc. of NXT car wash only to find out that its been discontinued since 2013!!! :wow::wow:

Question: Seeing how my "haul" is over 3 years old, does this hamper its performance at all? Whats the shelf life for these products and would it be okay to use them? These 3 half gallons will last me all year lol.

Thank you :D

I would recommend contacting Meguiars customer service to see what the shelf life of that product is. My guess is its probably ok, but I am not a chemist nor do I play one on tv or the internet.

I think it should be fine. NXT was one of the best-smelling products ever, enjoy the wash!

To comment on hyper wash, it does not have to be strictly used for foaming. It works great with a traditional bucket wash. I personally use it both ways.

:iagree: Pick it up.

Shelf life for Meg's products is 3-5 years as long as you avoid extreme temperatures, especially freezing.
If you notice any clumping, or separation of liquids, it has probably gone bad.

My guess is it hasn't been frozen, OP is in Dubai.

NXT Wash is STILL available.

I did some Meguiar's cruzin' and found it for sale on the Meg's New Zealand page.

I'm guessing that it is probably actually new stock.

I agree, however, after plenty of searching and weighing everything I decided Shampoo plus was the way to go for my needs and the closest to shampoo plus was either NXT or Gold Class. Gold class was 16oz and the NXT was 64oz so picked it up.

I might try it next time but it was a lot to spend especially as a 1 gallon, and if I didnt like it I would have cursed myself for not going with the gut feeling. Its important to note that these products are already 2-3 times the price here :(

I agree, I did see it on some other megs pages. But nothing on MOL or USA.

I was wondering about new stock too but seeing how its made in the USA and they discontinued it in 2013 - that worries me.

After more looking...It appears that NXT Wash is available just about everywhere EXCEPT the U.S. proper.

As to where it is manufactured, from what Mike Stoops has alluded, Meguiar's products are made in Tennessee and then out they go to wherever.

An example is M-16...can't get it here but is readily available in the E.U.

I do hope this is the case. I've contacted meguiars customer care several times and have not received a reply....they don't even offer an international calling number like AG does lol...In comparison AG replies almost always!

Edit: Product is available in both Uk and Australia stores from what I see. :D
