I don't see how it can be both - non abrasive and smat

I've used it to clean up paint transfers from parking lot incidents and well as cleaning up scratches inside door handles.

Swirl x by hand is a nice lite polish I use it as a per wax cleaner on small stuff

^^^:iagree:^^^

i dont either but its listed in the smat pack article mike wrote

I use it...It's an abrasive polish.

Since Mike Phillips was a "hands on guy" while working for Meguiar's, (and, also, in conjunction with their Chemists), when SwirlX was first introduced...
I'd rather go by what he stated in the 'Comments' section of his 'Smat Pack' article,
than what is printed on this product's container/tube-label << (marketer's shenanigans, IMO.)

Just saying...

My comments...
SwirlX is what's called a cleaner/polish, that is it's a product that offers ample cleaning or abrading ability but will leave the finish looking highly polished when used correctly. SwirlX can be used by itself for removing shallow swirls and scratches or for refining the results as a follow-up step to a more aggressive product like the Ultimate Compound.

SwirlX offers a long buffing cycle, this means the product stays wet on the surface for a long time for easy buffing, then when you turn the polisher off, because its still wet it's easy to wipe off. This assumes you don't buff to a dry buff which is bad technique.
Official Label Copy
SwirlX draws from Meguiars' professional body shop and detailing products expertise to deliver real results quickly, with minimum effort. This non-abrasive formula gently smooths away micro-fine swirl marks on all paint finishes.

ya i would agree with mike for sure,i read the back of the bottle and it says non-abrasive.

Perhaps from a marketer's mentality/job-preservation-instincts point-of-view of what it takes to sell great quantities of a "consumer product":

"No need to frighten the beejeebies out of the masses with an aggressiveness-scale printed on the label"!!

Evidently, it seems to them, mere mortals can't handle the truth.

:D
