I'm doing a friends 2002 C5 vette on saturday and I am wondering if anyone has used the new megs ultimate paste wax and what recommendations can you give me.Feed back please
By the way that's Chewie the Wonder Cat's "what's a matter for you look".
 
Hey Scott are you using liquid? Apply like any other thin is in....some guys have had some streeking during removal I have not had this issue.hope this helps.


you must of edited while i was typing....sorry havn't tried the paste yet.
 
Thanks dad07 but I have the paste version and I will keep a close eye for any streaking. Thanks for the info.
 
I actually like this wax quite a bit.

I haven't used the liquid yet and I have no complaints about the paste. The way I applied it was by hand, w/ the applicator provided in the pot, very very thin and front to back on the horiz. panels and up and down on the vert. panels buffed off, then topped with UQW wiped in with an applicator (all exterior surfaces) to let dry. Then buffed with a MF.

From what I have heard, the paste cannot be applied to the plastic trim, only the liquid so be aware of that. But, I didn't experience the streaking issues either.

I think you will be satisfied with the results. I applied my coat about a month and half ago with ONR washes every week and it's still beading very nicely.
