Meguiars 3" Sanding Disc ??

To everyone that have experience with headlight sanding.

I want to know when how long does the Meguiars 3" Sanding disc last?
500 , 800 , 1000 , 3000 grit.

It appears they all last about 2 cars for me when i do headlight sanding.

On the 3rd the discs are just not cutting anymore.

I usually do 1 pass and wipe the headlight and disc to keep it from gumming up.

It varies for me, sometimes they last a few cars, other times a few minutes. I use Norton sandpaper though. I start with 800,1500,2000, then maybe 3m 3000.

Two sets of headlights from one each of the grits is pretty good.
