I remember about 5 years ago Meguiars came out with a series of entailing and wash brushes. At the time I bought a few.

For me they were the best detail/wash brushes I have ever seen. The problem is I want to buy some new ones but they seem to have disappeared.

Does anyone know if they are still available?

I have a tire brush and a wheel brush. One has a long handle and one short. They pop off and change around. I had both when I had my Miata, I sold that car in 2005. I still use the brushes every wash.

I am still using mine after 5 years and I love them. I use the soft brushes now on my boat. The interior brushes and carpet brushes were top notch. I think I cleaned out one of the retail stores when they had them on clearance.

They last too long, is probably why they were discontinued! Lol!

The Mother's brushes are decent and inexpensive

I might be able to get my hands on a few of these I will know this week

those megs gold class accessories are worth their weight in gold. some online retailers may have some, you'll have to search...

I think it was a lot longer than 5 years ago, I think it was going on 10. It was 2004 or 2005 IIRC. It seemed like one of those things where they had a run made in China and for whatever reason that was it (either they didn't sell that well, they felt the market was saturated, or the supplier didn't want to make them again or make them for the same price). Most brushes last a long time and these were no exception.

Yeah, they were a great line of accessories. And your right it probably was 10 years ago. That's crazy how the time has gone!

I really felt the quality on those was top notch. Sad that such a nice line was discontinued as my brief search hasn't turned up anything as good.

you can a brush similar to the wheel brush at chemical guys. its something like a raccoon brush its blue but the same thing.

on that note i don't know why Meguiars discontinues some of the things I always like.

That was not really one of the highlights of that brush line. I think the wheel face brush was probably the most useful, followed by the tire brush, and/or the body brush if you use that type of thing. I'm not even sure I used the interior brush that Pat mentioned, I think it's still in the package. Some of us were able to pick up some extras of these at Big Lots at the time Meg's discontinued them.

EDIT: Oh, I should mention since Art showed it in one of his pictures, there was a QD sponge as part of this line. It's kind of like "The Bone" microfiber wash sponge, but the foam is wimpier. After you launder them enough times the foam breaks down and they turn into a great rinseless wash media.

I didn't say it was one of the highlights. of the bush line i was just telling him where he could find one similar.
